15.09.11 Launch of our 'Advanced' eCommerce Platform

We are pleased to announce the launch of our first 'Advanced' eCommerce website, in the form of www.Just4Fish.com. This entirely new platform features a large number of advanced features, most significantly attribute filtering, and advanced search and multi store capabilities. We will be adding more details of the 'Advanced' eCommerce platforms soon to the Fluid Websites. Should you have any questions in the mean time, please feel free to contact us.

20.02.11 Approved SagePay Partner

We are now an approved SagePay partner and recommend their credit card processing facilities for all of our projects. SagePay offer a fully encrypted and secure payment gateway, allowing your customers to safely enter their credit card details into your websites, whilst providing you with a user friendly interface to help manage your day to day orders.

18.08.10 Environmentally Friendly Servers

Our websites sit on servers that live in air conditioned data centres, with required back up facilities, fire walls and all of the associated equipment, ensuring that they provide the general public with access to our websites 99.999% of the time, 365 days a year. This all requires a great deal of electricity. To help address the fact that our servers ultimately release carbon dioxide through the generation of the electricity, and that global warming will have a significant impact upon us all, we're trying to do our part!

Our data centre is now 100% powered by wind energy, offsetting all of our electricity use with wind generated Renewable Energy Certificates. We thought it important to do our part.

07.07.10 New Carousel Module

Carousel's are an effective marketing method that add movement to a homepage, creating both an aesthetically pleasing look and feel to a site an an effective promotional area. To take advantage of this, we have developed a J-query based carousel that can be fitted to all of our eCommerce websites.

Feature 5 slides, marketers can promote specific brands and items on the home page of the website, linking each slide dynamically to the relevant product page. The regular update of the carousel demonstrates to repeat customers that the website is constantly under development with frequent updates, and can show case special offers, seasonal products and messages.

24.06.10 Email Notification Upgrade

The email notification system for our sites has been totally upgraded, providing the highest possible level of customer service.

The email notifications sent out by an eCommerce website are often the first direct customer interaction between the retailer and the customer. As such, it is imperative to provide an excellent first impression, and to ensure that the customer is fully informed about the status of their order.

To address this, we have developed a confirmation email system to achieve this.

Initial Account Registration:

As the customer registers their account, an email is sent to them to acknowledge the details that they have entered into the website's details. This email thanks the customer for creating the account and provides them with full contact details for the store should they have any questions.

Order Acknowledgement:

This email is sent once an order has been placed and includes all of the order details, again thank the customer for placing their order. The customer's order number is cleary visible on the page and information is provided with regards to the processing of orders, timeframes, etc., with a link to the contact us page of the website should the customer have any questions. The store's telephone number is also clearly visible.

Order Shipment:

Our order shipment emails are sent out as soon as the goods are dispatched. Tracking numbers are presented to the customer, together with details of the courier firm that are used (up to four different carriers at present). This includes a link to the tracking page of the relevant courier, enabling the user to track their order all the way from the store to their front door.

Details are also provided on this email that outline what the customer should do, should there be any problems with the items ordered, or the delivery of their shipment. Customer's are also encouraged to leave any feedback that they may have regarding the service that they have received.

Keeping your customers well informed and thanking them for their order is fundamental in today's competitive market, which is why we have built this approach into all of our eCommerce websites. To verify this, we have surveyed 831 of the AquariumSuperstore's customers, of which 98.56% agreed that our confirmation emails provided them with sufficient information.
